Ryan, Owner/Project Manager

With over 27 years in the construction industry, building isn't just what I do — it's who I am. Growing up around home and commercial construction, I was drawn early on to the challenges and rewards that the craft brings. That passion has not faded a day since. My experience encompasses carpentry, concrete, remodeling, home building, and home repair, providing me with a solid foundation to approach every project with both the big picture and the fine details in mind. Rycon Services proudly celebrated 10 years in business this year, offering comprehensive construction services. Over the past decade, we've developed strong partnerships with exceptional industry leaders, which is evident in the quality craftsmanship we deliver. I'm a local Realtor, here to assist you with any of your real estate needs, and I also manage the back end of our general contracting business, which offers various construction services. While I haven't worked directly on a construction job, I thoroughly enjoy home projects, especially home remodeling and interior design. In fact, I've played a key role in redesigning and implementing multiple projects in our home. I take great pride in marketing our business and am enthusiastic about our future growth as a general contractor. You might occasionally find me assisting my husband in the field as well. My educational background includes an Associate of Applied Arts/Science degree and an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, a field I practiced in for 12 years.

Sam, Assistant Project Manager

Sam was born and raised in Olympia, where he attended Capital High School. Growing up, he was actively involved in sports and continues to enjoy both playing and watching them today. A true football enthusiast, Sam considers the sport his passion outside of work—right alongside spending quality time with his family.

Recently married to his wonderful wife, Bailey, the couple now calls Olympia home. Known for his hearty appetite and love of a good nap, Sam believes in the value of hard work, balanced with plenty of fun! In his role with a local general contractor, he is dedicated to providing top-notch construction services and enjoys helping clients with home remodeling projects. Sam loves to have a good time and goof around, and you'll almost always catch him with a smile on his face!

AJ, Laborer

AJ was born and raised in Elma, where he attended Elma High School. Growing up in a small town gave him a strong appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. Known for his reliability, AJ takes pride in his work ethic, particularly in the construction services he provides. As a dependable general contractor, he is always ready to help others, especially in home remodeling projects, reflecting his values of hard work, loyalty, and making the most of every day.

Jessica Young, Office Manager

Jess Young is the newly hired Office Manager at Rycon Services, where she oversees office operations, customer relations, scheduling, and day-to-day coordination. With her extensive experience in the fast-paced construction services and home remodeling industries, she takes pride in maintaining organized and efficient operations focused on customer satisfaction.

Born and raised in Elma, Jessica has been a longtime family friend of Rycon owners Ryan and Tonya for more than 8 years, making the opportunity to join this general contractor team especially meaningful.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys coaching softball, supporting her kids in sports, and spending time outdoors with her husband Tim and family. She believes strong communication and teamwork are the foundation of success in both business and life.
